Lorraine Albright (McMinn)

Port Angeles resident Lorraine Carol McMinn died in Harrison Medical Center, Bremerton, following extended illness with complications from surgery. She was 69.

She was born in Port Angeles to Arthur Raymond and Sylvia (Smith) Albright.

She graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1957.

She was married to Gary Anderson from 1961 to 1970, and married Leland "Mac" McMinn in Reno, Nev., on July 11, 2001.

From 1957 to 1961, she was a telephone operator with Pacific Northwest Bell in Seattle. From 1974 until her retirement in 2000, she was a clerk with the state Department of Social and Health Services.

Her personal interests included playing computer games, cooking and growing African violets.

Mrs. McMinn is survived by her husband; son and daughter-in-law Darryl and Pam Anderson and son Jeff Anderson, all of Port Angeles; stepson Leland "Buddy" McMinn and stepdaughter Patty Colonna, both of Rifle, Colo., as well as stepdaughters Janet Evans, Laurie Belcher and Diane Wall, all of Amarillo, Texas; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
