CLINTON NEAL RADKE
February 13, 1939 -  October 13, 2010

Clinton Neal Radke, son of Helen and Fred A. Radke, was born in Seattle and died suddenly in Port Angeles.

He grew up in Port Angeles, graduating from Port Angeles High School in 1957.

He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering in 1962, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Engineering years later, both at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Prior to military service, he worked as an engineer in the oil industry.

After enlisting in the U.S. Army and attending Officer Candidate School, he served overseas with the rank of Captain in Korea, Italy and Vietnam, where he was honored with the Bronze Star for combat valor.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Radke Pope of Port Angeles, and his brother, Dr. Lawrence Radke of Saunderstown, Rhode Island; three nephews and one niece.

An avid fisherman, hiker, and gardener who loved the outdoors, he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
