Janet S. Hendrickson

A memorial service for Sequim resident Janet S. Hendrickson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Sequim Bible Church, 847 N. Sequim Ave.

Mrs. Hendrickson died Nov. 13, 2008, at the age of 69. She was born April 18, 1939, in Tacoma, to Gardi and Doris Walker.

She married Donald Hendrickson on Feb. 23, 1958, in Port Angeles. Mrs. Hendrickson was a homemaker whose primary focus was her husband. She worked in various retail jobs, including medical receptionist and cashier. She was involved extensively in her children's activities, including Cub Scouts, Bluebirds and Camp Fire. She loved all types of crafts, including crocheting and sewing, and collecting and trying new recipes on friends and family. Cooking was one of her favorite hobbies.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Hendrickson; son and daughter-in-law David and Anita Hendrickson; daughters and sons-in-law Vickie and Dana Rekow and Julie and Abraham Correa; and two grandchildren.
